CAUCASUS AUTO IMPORT is the largest auto importer and undisputed market leader in the Caucasus region. With a track record of 17 successful years, the company has imported and sold more than 200,000 vehicles.

Today, the company has over 40 branches across five countries: Georgia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Ukraine, and Kyrgyzstan.

Challenge

Every day, thousands of documents were signed by customers and dealers at CAUCASUS AUTO IMPORT, which, of course, created numerous challenges. Approximately 80% of customers couldn't physically visit branches to complete the paperwork for various reasons. Despite having multiple offices in Georgia, coverage was limited, necessitating the use of postal services for document distribution. 

This resulted in complications such as missed deliveries when customers weren't at home or delayed returns from signers. These difficulties resulted in added expenses and prolonged the overall processing time.

The company was looking for a solution to easily prepare, send, identify and verify the signer, and archive documents.

Solution

Using Signify's electronic signature platform, we achieved full automation and digitization of the contracting process. The project started in September and was successfully launched within a few weeks.

Throughout this project, company's internal system flawlessly integrated with the Signify API. Consequently, document workflows involving auto dealers now seamlessly initiate and conclude within company's website, eliminating the need for customers to navigate elsewhere..

On the other hand, a straightforward process was implemented or vehicle buyers: customers receive a document for signing via email, allowing them to sign from any location using any device. Signature verification is completed through a one-time SMS code.

This type of document holds legal validity according to the laws of Georgia and Western countries. On Signify's platform, an audit trail is automatically generated for each document, containing details about the signature, such as email, phone number, IP address, time, etc.

Signify not only simplified document signature processes but also streamlined saving, archiving, and retrieval.

Previously, it took a day and a half to locate a specific document, but with Signify, we can now find anything in seconds.
